Summary

As an Senior Financial Analyst at Gainwell, you can contribute your skills as we harness the power of technology to help our clients improve the health and well-being of the members they serve — a community’s most vulnerable. This role is strictly involved in the development of the product and does not involve access to Protected Health Information (PHI) & Personally Identifiable Information (PII) or any secured/confidential client data. The work is limited to application development and does not include handling or processing of sensitive health information.

Your role in our mission

Key responsibilities include:

· Performs highly complex financial analyses including budgeting, trend analysis, forecasting, and financial modeling; develops and implements capitalization methods and reviews journal entries.

· Collects budget, midyear forecast and other financial information; interprets, summarizes, and uploads forecast information to financial systems.

· Analyzes budget and forecast information and prepares presentations with recommendations to senior management.

· Develops financial controls, procedures, systems, and forecasting techniques to ensure compliance.

· Provides leadership and work guidance to less experienced personnel.

· Forecasts cash flow, sales, and expense projections.

· Assists department managers throughout the budgeting process.

· Assists in developing and implementing process changes and collaborates on special projects.

What we're looking for

· Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

· 14+ years of experience in Finance

· Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related field preferred

· Nine or more years of finance or accounting experience

· Experience with accounting principles, software and databases

· Experience working with financial analysis
