Financial Analyst / Senior Financial Analyst
Location: 8470 Keele Street, Concord, ON
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

We’re looking for a driven and committed candidate who exhibits enthusiasm in driving strategic decision-making by analyzing data, creating models and providing actionable insights to senior management. This position will be an integral member of a passionate and dynamic team that values growth, innovation and collaboration.
Position Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting & Analysis and Business Support
• Generate management reports and presentations to support senior leadership
• Build, maintain and refine budget models for forecasting, budgeting and scenario planning
• Analyze variances against budget and translate data into actionable insights
• Provide business support and partner with operational managers to improve profitability
• Create and maintain financial models for new initiatives and strategic projects
• Constantly challenge current processes and ways of working to provide greater efficiency or effectiveness within Finance and across departments
• Prepare, analyze and report on cash flow forecasts; manage cash balances
• Manage bank account user access to ensure proper security controls
• Provide support in capital financing and banking requirements
• Ad hoc projects and analysis
Technical Skills/Knowledge
• Post-secondary degree in Business, Commerce, Management Accounting or Financial Accounting and pursuing a CPA, CFA or related designation.
• Preferred 1-3 years of related experience.
• Critical thinking and analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced Excel skills. Understanding of BI Tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to translate complex financial data into concise, non-technical insights for senior leadership.
• Self-starter who is able to work independently and interface with all relevant internal teams and external business partners as needed.
• Comfort working in a fluid and oftentimes ambiguous environment; capable of making adjustments in both day-to-day and large-scale activities based on new information and developments.
Working Conditions while performing the job:
• Position is performed in an office environment 5 days a week.
