As a Senior Financial Analyst at JLL, you'll serve as a vital financial partner who ensures fiscal precision and strategic clarity across our operations. This role sits at the intersection of planning and execution, where you'll track budgets, manage accruals, and maintain the financial integrity that keeps our business running smoothly. You'll provide critical variance analysis and identify financial risks—from purchase order imbalances to aged work orders—giving both our internal Finance Manager and Client leadership an accurate, real-time view of performance. Maintain and update account budgeting tools with high precision to ensure real-time accuracy of financial data
Partner with the Lead Financial Analyst to conduct variance analysis, providing clear explanations for deviations between actual spend and forecasted figures
Support the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly reforecasts to align with client and organizational goals
Monitor actual expenditures against budgets and forecasts, proactively identifying and reporting changes in the forecasting tool
Collaborate with Facility Management teams to ensure all monthly accruals are captured accurately within the correct accounting period
Monitor Purchase Order balances, identify shortages or overages, and provide data-driven recommendations for adjustments
Flag aged work orders and accruals, working closely with FM teams to resolve invoice discrepancies and prevent payment delays
Manage property purchase card transactions, including accurate coding and uploading of receipts
Ensure all expenses are assigned to the correct Business Units and General Ledger codes to maintain reporting integrity
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
5-7 years of relevant work experience in financial analysis or accounting
Proficiency in a range of information technology tools and platforms
Google Sheets/Excel skills with strong financial modeling capabilities
Strong financial and analytical skills with proven experience in variance analysis
High level of attention to detail and accuracy with effective problem-solving abilities
Advanced English level and communication skills, both oral and written
Self-starter and team player with ability to bring alternate points of view to discussions
Experience with PeopleSoft and JD Edwards financial systems
Power BI experience for data visualization and financial reporting
Background working in corporate real estate or facilities management environments
Demonstrated success training and mentoring cross-functional teams on financial processes
