SGA Dental Partners is hiring for a Senior Financial Analyst This role will perform a variety of financial activities including budgeting, forecasting, building financial models, assisting with financial planning, performing research and analysis, preparing reports, and assisting with close processes.
Key Responsibilities
Reviewing and analyzing financial statements and reports.
Tracking KPIs and preparing financial reports.
Assisting with budgeting and monthly close processes.
Understanding key business drivers.
Assisting project teams with financial guidance.
Developing financial projections and building financial models.
Performing research and analysis as required.
Ensuring compliance with financial guidelines, company policies, and relevant legal regulations.
Develop financial models through benchmarking and process analysis.
Forecast quarterly and annual profits.
Prepare cost projections.
Analyze and report on current financial status.
Conduct thorough research of historical financial data.
Explore investment options and present risk and opportunities.
Coordinate with the CFO and the executive team on long-term financial planning.
Compare anticipated and actual results and identify areas of improvement.
Participate in budgeting (for departments and projects).
Review accounting transactions for data accuracy.
Establish financial policies.
Maintain confidentiality of financial information and investment decisions.
Assumes and executes additional responsibilities as assigned.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Ability to present financial information to a non-financial audience.
Working knowledge of financial strategies.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Detail-oriented and able to perform in a high-pressure environment.
Exceptional analytical, strategic, and critical thinking skills.
Confidentiality in handling sensitive financial information.
Advanced skillset in Excel and PowerPoint.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Education/ Experience
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, (CPA or CFA a plus)
3+ years of experience in financial planning, analysis, and modeling.
Experience with a wide range of GL systems including QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, NetSuite is highly preferred.
