Job Description

Ibotta is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst, to join our innovative team and contribute to our mission to Make Every Purchase Rewarding. This person will be responsible for conducting research, analyzing data, and generating actionable insights to help us improve our strategies and performance. This role will also be responsible for developing and maintaining financial models, and preparing reports and presentations for senior management.

This position is located in Denver, Colorado as a hybrid position requiring 3 days in office (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). Candidates must live in the United States.

What you will be doing:

  • Conduct research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities in the Marketing, Technology or Sales and Revenue landscape.

  • Develop and maintain financial models to forecast expenses and return on investment.

  • Prepare a variety of reports and presentations that communicate the results of your analysis to senior management, investors, and the Board.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to implement new initiatives as well as optimize existing marketing processes.

  • Participate in annual planning / budgeting processes as well as ongoing monthly re-forecasting under the leadership of team management.

  • Stay up-to-date on the latest trends in data analytics and financial modeling.

What we are looking for:

  • 3+ years of experience in financial analysis

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field.

  • Strong problem-solving, data manipulation, and analysis skills

  • Financial modeling experience building operational, ROI, CAC/LTV, Cohort Analysis, and marketing campaign models.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office / Google Suite, specifically Excel and Powerpoint.

  • Experience with business intelligence (BI), data analysis, and/or FP&A planning software. Bonus points for experience in SQL, Adaptive Insights, Salesforce, Netsuite, Looker, and Mode Analytics.

Additional Details:

  • This position is located in Denver, CO and includes competitive pay, flexible time off, benefits package (including medical, dental, vision), Employee Stock Purchase Program, and 401k match. Denver office perks include paid parking, snacks, and occasional meals.

  • Base compensation range: $95,000 - $105,000. Equity is included in overall compensation package. This compensation range is specific to the United States labor market and may be adjusted based on actual experience. Total compensation for this role also includes a variable component in addition to base salary.
