Senior Financial Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, and will also have hands-on experience or a strong interest in developing and maintaining pricing models. This role is critical in supporting strategic business decisions by providing actionable insights and robust financial modeling.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support business planning, investment decisions, and operational improvements.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance complex financial models, including but not limited to pricing models, cost analysis, and profitability studies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial and operational data, ensuring accuracy and integrity in reporting.
  • Prepare and present detailed financial reports, forecasts, and variance analyses to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Support the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Assist in evaluating pricing strategies and their impact on revenue, margins, and competitiveness.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in financial analysis and pricing strategies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; an advanced degree or MBA is a plus.
  • At least 5 years of progressive experience in financial analysis.
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Preferred: Hands-on experience designing, implementing, or managing pricing models for products or services.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling tools; familiarity with financial systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Hyperion is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to non-financial audiences.
  • Skilled at managing multiple priorities, working independently, and thriving within fast-paced environments.

Preferred Attributes

  • Experience working within pricing strategy teams or supporting commercial pricing decisions.
  • Familiarity with statistical analysis, data visualization, and business intelligence tools.
  • Understanding of market dynamics, competitive analysis, and customer segmentation as they relate to pricing.
  • Keen attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
