The Perseus Operating Group, a division of Constellation Software (TSX: CSU), isseekingan energetic, independent, and detail-orientedSenior Financial Accountantto join our finance team at our Contour office in Karachi.The successfulcandidate will accuratelymaintainthegeneral ledger,demonstratea strong understanding of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, and other financial transactions,and bringexcellent communication, business, and analytical skills. This individualwill beefficient, resourceful, andable tomaintainconfidentiality.Therole includes ongoing supportforbusiness operations, accounting policies, financial processes, and accounting systems.The Senior Financial Accountantwillbe responsible formaintainingfinancial records,preparingreports and account reconciliations,consolidatingmonth-end reportingpackages, andassistingwith month-end financial analysis.

Responsibilities
Assistwith monthly close procedures, including preparing and posting adjusting journal entries.
Prepare monthly account reconciliations.
Research and resolve account discrepanciesin a timely manner
Manage A/P inbox inquiries from internal stakeholders and vendors.
Assistwith monthly financial statement analysis and reporting on key variances.
Assistwith special projects asrequired
Consolidatebalance sheet package overviews.
Consolidatemonthly reporting packages and provide monthly trend analysis.
Maintain financial reports, records, and general ledger accounts.
Meet processing and reporting deadlines.
Leadand oversee thedaily accounting activitiesofaccountants and assistant accountantstoensurean efficientand well-coordinatedworkflow
Provide clear leadership, direction,and supporttoteam members by sharing knowledge, answering questions, andresolvingaccounting-related issues.
Leadteamactivitiesto ensure alignmentwithmonthly reporting deadlines andthe company’s financial priorities.
Assist the Senior Finance Manager as needed.
Answer accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data.
Work closely with offshore teams across different time zones to ensure smooth coordination of financial tasks.
Professional Acumen
The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities whilemaintainingexceptional attention to detail.
Build andmaintainstrong relationships with external vendors and internal customers while promoting a customer-service-oriented and positive finance team culture. Experience in a multi-location environment is a plus.
Be proactive and eager to contribute, learn, ask thoughtful questions, and provide practical solutions. Maintain a continuous improvement mindset byidentifying, reviewing, and implementing process improvements.
Education and Technical Skills
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
ACCA, CMA, and/or CPA designation, or active progress toward completion, is preferred.
5+ years of experience infinanceor accountingfunctions Experience with an international company and priorexposure toteamcoordination or mentoringare considered assets.
Working knowledge of GAAP and IFRS, including IFRS 15 and IFRS 16.
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel workbooks and PowerPoint.
Experience with accounting technology, including automated solutions and ERP general ledger systems.
Experience with Great Plains,Jedox, Concur, banking applications, or similar programs is a plus.
A thorough understanding of accounting guidance, including revenue recognition andacquisitionaccounting, is a plus.
Ability to manage, develop, and implement new processes aligned with best practices.
Ability to plan, coordinate, andsupportthe month-end close schedule, including timelinemanagementand preparation of balance sheet reconciliations.
Effective oral, written, and business communication skills.
Professional interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Detail-oriented, with the ability to meet deadlines, multitask, and work effectively in a rapidly changing environment.
