The Division:
Constellation Kidney Group formed in 2018 by the combination of QMS, Infian, Clinical Computing, and Mediqal Health Informatics as part of Constellation Software , a publicly traded multinational from Toronto, Canada. The companies of the Constellation Kidney Group have a long history dating as far back as 1976 of providing specialized software for the renal care market designed to improve patient outcomes and management efficiencies.
The Senior Financial Accountant is a key technical and review-focused role within the Controllership & Finance Operations pillar, responsible for overseeing complex accounting areas, reviewing junior accountants’ work, ensuring IFRS compliance, supporting audits, and driving process quality across the pod. The role requires deepexpertisein IFRS 15 and IFRS 16, strong analytical capability, and the ability to guide and mentor team members.
Core Accounting & Reporting Responsibilities
Review PO/GRN/Invoice matching exceptions and provide guidance to accountants for reconciliation and vendor dispute resolution.
Review revenue recognition under IFRS 15 for complex contracts, including:
Standalone selling price (SSP) allocation
Multi-element arrangements
Variable consideration
Renewals and contract modifications
Review IFRS 16 lease accounting schedules:
ROU assets and lease liability calculations
Amortization and interest schedules
Impairment indicators and remeasurement considerations
Prepareconsolidatedreporting packs including:
Trending dashboards
KPI reporting packs
Revenue waterfall schedules
Renewal and pipeline reporting
Forecasting inputs for leadership
Financial Analysis & Insights
Perform deep-dive analyses on key areas such as:
Margin erosion and cost variances
Project overruns and budget-to-actual deviations
Customer churn patterns and operational KPIs
Cost anomalies and unusual fluctuations across business units
Audit & Compliance
Coordinate external and internal audits end-to-end, including:
Planning and sampling
Evidence preparation and delivery
Managing auditor queries
Ensuring remediation actions are completed
Preparing management responses for audit findings
Team Leadership & Collaboration
Mentor and guide junior accountants in:
Reconciliations
Excel automation and efficiency
Navigation of Microsoft F&O
Provide technical accounting coaching to elevate team capability.
Promote process consistency, documentation standards, and control improvements.
Qualifications & Experience Requirements
QualifiedACCAICMA or similar professional accounting qualification
4–6 years of relevant accounting experience
Strong technical knowledge of IFRS 15 and IFRS 16
Willing to work during the 3 PM to 12 AM shift.
Demonstrated experience reviewing work of junior team members
Ability tooperatein a fast-paced, multi-entity environment
