The Global ERP Systems team enables Celonis' Finance organization through scalable, reliable, and innovative enterprise applications. We partner closely with the Finance organization to continuously improve financial processes, automate manual work, and ensure the integrity of financial data across our systems landscape.
Our team organizes our project work on a Scrum framework to focus on continuous delivery, continuous improvement, and agility. As part of our agile team, you'll contribute to the evolution of our Finance Systems ecosystem while working alongside experienced functional and technical specialists in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
We're looking for a Senior Finance Systems Engineer with deep expertise in Workday Financials to help design, build, and continuously improve our enterprise Finance Systems landscape.
Reporting to the Head of Finance Systems, you'll serve as a senior technical partner to Accounting and Finance stakeholders, translating complex business requirements into scalable Workday solutions. You'll independently lead the technical delivery of strategic initiatives, drive system improvements, and ensure our financial applications continue to support a fast-growing global business.
You'll have significant ownership over end-to-end solution delivery—from discovery and solution design through implementation, testing, deployment, and post-production support—while collaborating closely with Finance Systems leadership to align on technical direction, contribute to platform evolution, and ensure solutions support the long-term scalability of our ERP ecosystem.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being the technical expert in the room—partnering with stakeholders to solve complex Finance Systems challenges while contributing to the evolution of the platform under the guidance of Finance Systems leadership.
The ideal candidate enjoys solving complex business problems through technology and thrives in a collaborative environment. They are comfortable working independently, partnering with Finance stakeholders, and owning technical delivery from discovery through implementation while collaborating closely with Finance Systems leadership on overall platform direction.
Success in this role means delivering scalable, maintainable solutions, continuously improving our Finance Systems landscape, serving as a trusted technical advisor for complex initiatives, and helping elevate engineering best practices across the team.
