The Boeing Company - Finance Systems and Analytics (FS&A) Close to Report (C2R) Team is seeking a highly skilled accounting professional with a strong interest in finance systems to join our dynamic organization in either Hazelwood, Missouri or Tukwila, Washington as a Senior Finance Systems and Analytics Analyst
Our mission is to “Deliver business insight through an inquisitive culture that drives innovation and integrated technology solutions.” The FS&A C2R team manages over 50 Boeing legacy and production SAP systems, spanning accounting, accounts receivable, tax, travel, and treasury functions.
About the Role:
The FS&A C2R team plays a critical role in production support, system development and enhancement, break/fix resolution, technical debt management, and project management of key enterprise initiatives. As a trusted business partner across multiple finance and non-finance domains—both domestic and international—we deliver solutions that enhance controls and improve data quality. Our team is integral to essential accounting processes, including invoicing and month-end/year-end close activities.
Position Responsibilities:
Oversees PeopleSoft and SAP applications, including Boeing C2R systems (Enterprise Labor Distribution (ELD), Enterprise Accounting System (EAS), Enterprise Financial Consolidations (EFC)), SAP S/4HANA, and related accounting systems
Leads and supports resolution of production issues through troubleshooting and collaboration with IT and business partners
Maintains system health by performing regular process verifications
Analyzes fit-gap requirements and develops effective solutions to address gaps
Manages User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including development of comprehensive business test plans and execution
Prepares system deployment criteria, including go/no-go decisions and production readiness plans
Documents processes and procedures with clarity and precision
Supports audit requests and ensure compliance with Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) controls
Collaborates closely with IT teams, business functions, and third-party providers
Delivers high-quality solutions on schedule, integrating efforts with other teams to ensure comprehensive outcomes
Provides backup support to other functions within EAS and across C2R applications as needed
This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3+years of experience in Systems Applications and Processing (SAP)
3+ years of experience in Finance or Accounting
3+ years of experience do you have managing multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business or a related field
3+ years of experience working with general business and financial accounting principles
3+ years of experience working in cost accounting, material accounting, financial accounting, SAP S/4 Hana system implementations or a related field
Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS)
Experience working in a large, multinational corporation, manufacturing industry or aerospace and defense
Experience articulating complex technical concepts clearly and concisely
Experience as a change agent and ability to communicate and drive change with multiple stakeholders
Experience in SOX or other internal controls in the industry
Experience with Close to Report processes
Experience working with account receivables and/or finance
Experience with financial accounting standards board - Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) guidelines
Experience with analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience operating effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Experience managing competing priorities in a dynamic work environment
Experience working effectively in virtual and cross-functional teams
Experience in accounting, cost accounting, or financial analysis
Experience in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
Experience with written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at various management levels

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
