What this job involves

This role is a key member of the WPM Regional Reporting team, partnering closely with the WPM Regional Finance Director to drive financial performance, process excellence, and strategic decision support across the region.

The position combines business partnering, standardized financial modelling and reporting excellence, with a strong focus on driving efficiency, improving margins, and elevating the quality of financial insights.

Key Responsibilities:

Regional Reporting and Performance Management

• Support the month-end review process, including variance analysis, performance commentary, and actionable insights
• Partnering with Finance Director to coordinate the budgeting and forecasting cycles across APAC
• Develop and enhance standard templates, reporting packs, and presentation decks for senior management
• Monitor financial performance and proactively identify drivers of margin variance, cost optimization opportunities, and operational improvements

Financial Modelling and Decision Support

• Develop and maintain standardised financial models to support budgeting, forecasting and scenario planning
• Support the APAC reteam in key financial ratio/trending analysis, highlighting risk and opportunities areas, conducting variance analysis
• Support regular reporting cadence needs

Driving Process Efficiency & Automation

• Support the Regional Finance Director to drive process improvement and finance transformation initiatives
• Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, reduce manual effort and enhance efficiency
• Collaborate with Regional FP&A team and Enablement team to support implementation of automation tools and reporting solutions

Regional Projects Management

• Provide fundamental support in implementing regional initiatives
• Work closely with Regional FP&A team and WPM reporting team focussing on supporting adoption of new systems, tools and leading indicators across APAC
