In this role, you'll sit at the intersection of supply chain, project execution, and financial performance — bringing analytical rigor to product cost estimation and helping GE Vernova make smarter, faster decisions at every stage of the process.

This is a senior individual contributor role where your depth of finance knowledge and your ability to translate complex data into clear insight will have a direct impact on profitability and execution outcomes. As Lead Finance Specialist - Product Cost, you will be resposible to drive optimal performance ( cost, fulfillment, quality, cash) and profitability through the Supply Chain and Project execution.

Job Description

What You'll Do

  • Build and maintain product cost estimates, standards, and handbooks to support accurate proposal development and pricing decisions.
  • Define and execute product cost strategy, including identifying opportunities for restructuring and process improvement.
  • Partner with supply chain and project execution teams to drive performance across cost, fulfillment, quality, and cash.
  • Apply functional policy and financial best practices to solve problems, drawing on multiple internal sources to reach sound, well-supported decisions.
  • Share your expertise informally with newer team members and communicate complex financial information clearly to colleagues across the business.

Who You Are

You're an experienced finance professional who brings structured thinking, strong analytical instincts, and the confidence to work with meaningful autonomy within an established functional framework.

Required

  • Advanced experience in Finance and Product Cost
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • Proven ability to analyze financial data, develop cost models, and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly to diverse audiences.

Preferred

  • Experience supporting proposals, bids, or product pricing in a manufacturing, supply chain, or project-based environment.
  • Demonstrated project management skills, including the ability to document, plan, and execute cross-functional programs.
