Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Finance Manager, People & Places and Corporate Development FP&A to support the client's Finance organization during a period of accelerated growth. The successful candidate will serve as the key FP&A partner to the Chief People Officer and EVP of Corporate Development, driving budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial analysis across the People & Places and Corporate Development functions.
This role is ideal for a highly analytical, detail-oriented professional who can operate independently and cross-functionally, is comfortable partnering with senior leadership, and is excited about building scalable financial processes within a fast-paced FP&A organization.
Location: San Francisco, CA (Hybrid – 2 days/week in office)
Contract Length: 3 Months
Pay Rate: $80-90/hour
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Serve as the key FP&A partner to the Chief People Officer and EVP of Corporate Development.
  • Manage the People and Places financial analyst.
  • Drive the budgeting and forecasting processes for the People & Places and Corporate Development functions, including partnering with the business on strategic initiatives, optimizing spend portfolios while maintaining 1% forecast accuracy, and owning insightful analysis on headcount, spend, and other key operational drivers and metrics.
  • Continuously evolve budgeting and forecasting processes as business needs change.
  • Participate in the company's long-range strategic planning as applicable.
  • Manage frequent ad hoc and strategic projects to support senior management and business decision-making.
  • Take on expanded scope as business needs evolve.
  • Lead process and systems improvement and scaling projects within your area and the broader FP&A function, partnering across cross-functional teams to support the company's continued growth.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
  • Able and willing to work from the San Francisco office as needed, once a week or more.
  • 7–10 years of experience in FP&A.
  • Strong business acumen and demonstrated experience partnering with senior leadership.
  • Excellent financial modeling and analysis skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and PowerPoint/Google Slides.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment while maintaining a high level of precision.
  • Ability to challenge the status quo and bring forward new ways of thinking.
Preferred
  • Experience with Anaplan and Tableau.
  • Experience in a global high tech, software, or SaaS organization.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field required.
