Controller – P3

Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare and coordinate monthly MEC reporting across few entities, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of financial results
  • Review trial balances, identifying and resolving discrepancies or accounting issues
  • Analyze variances and trends, providing insightful commentary on financial performance
  • Consolidate financial data from multiple countries and ensure consistency with group reporting requirements

Audit & Compliance

  • Coordinate statutory and internal audits across the region, ensure timely completion and issue resolutions
  • Ensure compliance with local GAAP, IFRS standards, and JLL group accounting policies
  • Support implementation of audit recommendations and drive closure of audit findings
  • Maintain strong internal controls and drive continuous improvement in financial processes

Regional Coordination & Support

  • Partner across finance teams to ensure consistent application of accounting policies
  • Provide technical accounting guidance and support on complex transactions and accounting treatments
  • Coordinate with local teams on month-end close activities, ensuring deadlines are met
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes at regional and country levels

Accounting Operations

  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of accounting transactions across regional entities
  • Drive standardization of accounting processes and systems across countries
  • Support implementation of system upgrades and process improvements and drive centralization opportunities
  • Maintain and update accounting policies and procedures documentation

Required Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Professional accounting qualification (CPA, CA, or equivalent)
  • 5+ years of post-qualification experience in the accounting and finance domain, with at least 3 years in a controller or senior accounting role
  • Experience managing multi-country financial operations
  • Proven experience coordinating external audits and managing audit relationships

Technical Skills & Core Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and/or US GAAP
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
  • Experience with consolidation and reporting systems
  • Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and challenging environment
  • Strong communication skills with ability to present financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders
  • Demonstrated leadership and ability to influence without direct authority
  • Cultural sensitivity and ability to work effectively across diverse markets
  • Problem-solving orientation with a continuous improvement mindset
