About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis Senior Manager


In this role, you will:

  • Manage and develop teams of individual contributors or managers in support of financial analysis services for one or more Business Lines on moderately complex matters related to financial data forecasting of financial metrics, analysis and reporting supporting operating and strategic reviews
  • Engage and influence stakeholders on financial analysis, reporting strategy and economic research that may have critical impact on the long-term business performance
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and risk control development
  • Determine appropriate strategy for efficient and effective process in support of providing key finance services such as management reporting and key metrics forecasting
  • Maintain functional ownership of various aspects of financial reporting services running and enhancing reporting systems to facilitate the production of information, budgeting analysis, forecasting analysis, variance analysis, variance commentary, reporting and reviews, presentation and project preparation
  • Interpret and develop policies and procedures for financial analysis and reporting
  • Collaborate with and influence all levels of professionals, including senior managers
  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources to ensure commitments are met and align with strategic objectives in Finance
  • Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy


Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of Finance experience or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 3+ years of management or leadership experience

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business, or Economics (CA / MBA / CFA preferred)
  • Strong experience in finance, preferably within banking or a large, complex organization
  • Strong understanding of financial planning, forecasting, accounting, and reporting frameworks
  • Proven experience in managing geographically distributed teams
  • Demonstrated experience with project management methodologies, processes and tools

Job Expectation:

  • Experience in Consumer Banking, Lending, or Retail Financial Services
  • Prior exposure to global finance operating models and matrix organizations
  • Experience in finance transformation, automation, or AI-led initiatives
  • Strong executive presence with ability to influence senior stakeholders
