The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Senior Finance Manager to join the Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) Finance team in Wichita, Kansas
This opportunity will help lead all aspects of Wichita’s strategic and long-range business plan (LRBP), financial forecasting, integrated financial analyses, and executive reporting. This role will provide leadership and direction to a team responsible for supporting complex business and financial objectives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Activities may include, but are not limited to, the development, integration, implementation, and/or execution of multidisciplinary business processes. This position will work cross-functionally with internal and external customers and suppliers at all employee levels to carry out responsibilities.
Position Responsibilities:
Lead and manage teams responsible for Cost Management, Estimate at Completion (EAC) development, and capital forecasting, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with business objectives
Drive integration synergies across legacy Spirit and heritage Boeing organizations by identifying cost savings and process improvement opportunities
Develop and oversee complex financial models and integrated financial forecasts to support strategic and operational planning
Lead variance analysis and provide actionable insights on financial performance to senior management
Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, Program Management, and other stakeholders to align financial goals and support business strategies
Manage the capital forecast process, partnering with business leaders to prioritize investments and optimize capital allocation
Establish and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external partners to ensure alignment and effective communication
Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance financial processes, tools, and reporting capabilities
Mentor, develop, and motivate finance team members, fostering a culture of high performance, engagement, and talent retention
Ensure compliance with corporate policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
Communicate financial results, forecasts, and recommendations clearly and effectively to senior leadership
Work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with occasional travel
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree or higher
Able to travel 10% of the time
5+ years of experience in a finance related position such as Financial Operations, Cost Management, Accounting, Estimating, Financial Planning, Contracts or Procurement Financial Analysis (PFA)
3+ years of experience leading a team or a project
Experience working across organizations and cross-functional groups to ensure project coordination, implementation and completion
Experience using excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate with leaders and colleagues
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience working with large cross-functional teams and interfacing with senior management
Experience streamlining financial processes and tools to improve efficiency
Experience mentoring and developing finance talent
Ability to be self-motivated and results-oriented with strong intellectual curiosity
Ability to manage multiple projects with strong follow through skills and initiative
Ability to be eager to improve, open for change and actively supports our performance culture
