Job Description


Overview:
The Senior Manager in the Finance Department will play a critical role in overseeing financial operations, reporting performance, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and supporting strategic financial planning. This role requires a high level of professionalism, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic team environment.


Key Responsibilities


  • Oversee and ensure the smooth, efficient, and effective operation of Group Finance functions.


  • Manage the preparation of full sets of accounts, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, balance sheet reconciliations, and tax-related matters.


  • Participate in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic financial forecasts.


  • Compile financial data and perform detailed analyses to support management decision-making.


  • Liaise closely with external auditors, Company Secretary, and relevant stakeholders to ensure timely regulatory filings and compliance requirements are met.


  • Provide financial insights and recommendations aimed at enhancing overall financial performance.


  • Drive finance process improvements to strengthen efficiency, controls, and reporting quality.


  • Supervise, coach, and develop finance team members, promoting a collaborative and high-performance culture.


  • Support ad-hoc projects and assignments as and when required.


Requirements


Requirements


  • Minimum
    10 years of relevant finance or accounting experience

    ; exposure to a professional services environment is an added advantage.


  • Strong proficiency in financial systems and ERP platforms, with solid working knowledge of
    Microsoft Office

    applications.


  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate financial data into actionable business insights.


  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting financial information clearly to various stakeholders.


  • Demonstrated leadership capability with experience in building, guiding, and motivating teams.


  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail, with strong organisational skills.


  • Able to manage multiple priorities effectively, self-driven, and comfortable working independently.
