We’re entering an exciting phase of growth, and we’re looking for a Senior Finance Data Analyst to help us lead the way.

As the Senior Finance Data Analyst, you will contribute to the once-in-a-lifetime energy transition by delivering high-quality forecasting, reporting and commercial insight. As Senior Finance Data Analyst, you will provide analysis and analytical solutions that support smarter decisions across forecasting, regulatory reporting and planning. This role is based at Freshwater Place, Melbourne and is part of the Finance team.

What you’ll be doing in this role:

  • Deliver high-quality data analytics, insights and reporting to support business decision-making.
  • Maintain and enhance revenue, energy and consumption forecasting models.
  • Work hands-on with existing forecasting models and codebase, including testing and challenging historical assumptions and logic.
  • Support month-end accruals, budgeting activities and five-year planning.
  • Contribute to regulatory reporting and drive continuous improvement across finance data and analytical processes.

You don’t need to check every box, however we’re looking for a good combination of:

  • Experience in finance, analytics or business analysis, including hands-on experience working with large, complex datasets, forecasting models and scripts.
  • Strong SQL, advanced Excel and Power BI capability, with Python or similar tools highly regarded.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
