
This role will business partner with the newly formed Digital Transformation Team. The main objectives of this role are to maximise competitive, sustainable value generation, delivering insight, and an assessment of risks, while working with the Digital team and the wider business to optimise financial performance and drive change through digital transformation.
Business Partnering with the Digital Transformation team will bring clarity and insight to our business decisions, providing constructive challenge, quantify trade-offs and enable business transformation. This role will focus on simplifying complex information, clarity of communication to deliver on a no surprises basis.
Business Case Coordination & Analysis. Supporting and leading on raising the maturity and consistency of business case development across the Digital Transformation Programme. You will work with programme leads, business owners and enabling functions to support the preparation of high‑quality business cases for quarterly strategic reviews. This includes gathering inputs, completing capital vs operating cost assessments on intangible assets, supporting financial and non‑financial analysis, and ensuring cases clearly articulate strategic rationale and expected outcomes.
Proposition Assessment Support. Supporting the review of initiative propositions to ensure they meet required standards for Digital Transformation Projects. This includes supporting the coordination the collation of key information such as project purpose, scope, service design (current and future states), benefits, costs, delivery approach, risks, assumptions and team structure. You will help ensure complete, consistent templates are submitted and positively challenge information received.
Value Tracking & Reporting. Supporting the design and day‑to‑day operation of value tracking processes so that sponsors and business owners have clear visibility of progress against expected outcomes. The senior finance business partner will need to play a strong role not only in designing and implementing the value tracking but also in helping business sponsors, business SMEs and the digital team drive, measure and report on outcomes.

Working Location
Our Hybrid working approach offers the opportunity for colleagues in some roles to work from home for an average of two days a week, providing the flexibility to work in an agile way whilst ensuring we deliver for the operational needs of HeathrowWorking arrangements vary from team to team and will be confirmed during the recruitment process. You’ll need to be based in the UK and within a commutable distance to Heathrow.
