About the role
Reporting to the Director - Strategic Investments & Asset Management, you’ll lead the financial analysis, benefits realisation and strategic insight activities across Lifeblood’s portfolio of projects and asset‑ related investments. You will embed the Benefits Realisation Management (BRM) Framework across the organisation, supporting project teams to define, track and report benefits aligned to strategic objectives, while delivering high‑ quality portfolio‑ level insights and reporting to Executive and Board stakeholders. The role also contributes to business planning, supports investment prioritisation, and leads initiatives to strengthen reporting capability, automation and AI‑ readiness across the Strategic Investments & Asset Management function.
Key responsibilities
Lead the embedding of the Benefits Realisation Management (BRM) Framework across project and asset portfolios
Partner with project teams to define, baseline and monitor benefits through the investment lifecycle
Prepare high‑ quality financial analysis, insights and reporting for Executive and Board papers
Consolidate financial and benefits information to support annual and long‑ term capital and business planning
Lead preparation of reporting and analysis for the Cost Model Working Group, including benchmarking insights
Provide expert financial and benefits advice to senior leaders and project stakeholders
Drive continuous improvement through process automation, improved reporting and AI‑ readiness initiatives
Develop training, guidance and tools to uplift benefits realisation capability across the organisation
Sound interesting? Here’s what we’re looking for:
CPA or CA qualified, with tertiary qualifications in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline
Strong experience (5+ years) in financial analysis or accounting within a large, complex organisation
Proven ability to translate financial data into clear, actionable insights for senior stakeholders
Experience embedding frameworks, governance or assurance processes across portfolios or programs
Strong stakeholder engagement skills, including experience training or coaching non‑ finance stakeholders
Commercially astute, detail‑ driven and motivated to drive continuous improvement
