This job is responsible for daily forecasting and analyzing of the bank's balance sheets, Net Interest Income (NII), Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) and interest rate risk sensitivity. Key responsibilities include partnering with Line of Business (LOB) leaders and teammates across Corporate Treasury, Risk, and the Chief Financial Office (CFO) to deliver a dynamic, accurate, and disciplined forecast by product, LOB, and legal entity under baseline and/or stress scenarios.

Role Specific Description

Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) team is seeking a highly motivated, talented, and collaborative professional to join the group. The team is part of a broader Balance Sheet Management and Treasury Finance (BSMTF) team that resides within the overall Corporate Treasury organization. The FTP team develops and manages the end-to-end FTP Framework to develop the FTP methodologies, performs FTP processing, and produce related FTP reporting and analytics. The successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to review and understand business balance sheet and work with internal Treasury teams and the Banking Book LOBs to create and calculate, analyze the Banking Book FTP.

Responsibilities:

  • Delivers forecast analysis and reporting with accuracy, presenting results to senior management
  • Applies subject matter expertise of the key drivers of the Line of Business, Product balance sheet and Net Interest Income (NII) forecasts, Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP), and FDIC expenses, challenging the forecast and highlighting potential risks
  • Identifies opportunities to enhance or simplify processes, improving analytical capabilities for stakeholders
  • Delivers forecasting, securitization, deposit pricing, and annual report disclosures with a high level of autonomy

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all facets of the Banking Book FTP process (incl., Daily LOB support and month end close activities)
  • Assisting front line Banking units in pricing new deals to ensure they have accurate information prior to entering into a transaction
  • Focus on operational efficiencies across all facets of the Banking Book FTP process
  • Run ad-hoc analyses on an as needed basis
  • Perform month-end activities to appropriately close the books each month

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of Banking Industry Balance Sheet knowledge
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is required.
  • Excellent stakeholder relationship management abilities to establish and maintain collaborative partnerships across the organization
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing needs.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Essbase, SQL queries a plus.
