s/Purpose:

We are seeking a talented Senior application Engineer to join our products management Thin Film department at ZJG site. This role will focus on leading the following main initiatives:

1. The Container BCP project, which involves developing alternative sources for containers and valves.
2. Assist the site and R&D units in the development of new products and provide technical support for client usage.
3. Help deal with FA analysis of customer complain cases.

Location: The Senior Container Engineer position will be based in ZJG site, & Shanghai ETCC CN, and cooperation with other sites application team. It will primarily support the China market.

Your Role:

Products application development with customers Analyze the situations arising from the product's application on the customer side, collaborate with relevant production units, QA and R&D units to solve the problems at the user application end, and propose relevant solutions.

FA analysis Assist in conducting the relevant failure analysis, including designing the analysis process, leading the analysis, cooperating with the QA team to prepare relevant reports, and participating in client discussions

Project Management: Lead or actively participate in cross-functional teams to ensure project timelines, cost efficiency, and quality standards are met.

Technical Support: Provide technical support to internal and external customers, ensuring products application meet customer requirements.

Collaboration: Coordinate closely with multiple teams, including sales, OEM, vendors, project managers, process engineers, production teams, and quality assurance personnel, to ensure optimal product performance and quality.

Experimental Design: Design and conduct hands-on experiments to develop new products or enhance existing ones, while analyzing data and interpreting results independently.

Research and Development: Conduct independent research for papers or patents. Prepare and present research findings, reports, and publications to internal and external stakeholders.

Intellectual Property: Contribute to the development of intellectual property and assist in preparing patent applications as needed.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations in all laboratory activities.

Who You Are

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, science, or a related technical discipline (SEMITF process engineering preferred).
• Experience: 5+ years of SEMI industry experience in areas such as Thin-film processing, especially having a good understanding of the principles and applications of ALD, MCVD or CVD processes.or related mechanical design, particularly within the semiconductor manufacturing or chemical industries is plus.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with fluency in English preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Education: Master or PhD in engineering, science, or related technical discipline (Semiconductor film process preferred).
• Experience: 5+ years of industry experience in areas such Fab TF module and process development, DOE experimental design, understanding of statistical analysis, and root cause analysis
• Research and Development: Experience in conducting independent research, including designing experiments and analyzing data.
• Intellectual Property: Familiarity with intellectual property development and patent applications.
• Industry Knowledge: Experience in the semiconductor industry or semiconductor materials industry, with an understanding of semiconductor customers' needs for material/container quality and reliability.
• Skills: Strong organizational and planning skills with attention to detail, coupled with excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Language Proficiency: Excellent communication skills in both English and Mandarin, both oral and written.
