Job Description

Salary: £28-36k (depending on experience)
Location: Leeds area (mainly in-office, occasional remote)

Our growing client is looking for a Senior Fieldwork Executive to oversee the smooth day-to-day delivery of projects and facility operations. You’ll play a key role in making sure everything runs on time, from set-up to wrap-up, with plenty of variety across the week. This is also a chance to step into line management, build operational expertise, and grow within a supportive, collaborative team.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver projects on time, delegating tasks to Execs and Apprentices
• Line manage junior colleagues, supporting their growth and development
• Lead fieldwork onsite and offsite, from participant hosting to focus group logistics (occasional evenings required)
• Maintain fieldwork equipment and facilities, flagging and resolving capacity issues
• Manage casual staff recruitment, onboarding, and payment
• Report on progress, quotas, and incentives, suggesting improvements where needed
• Act as a role model, building strong working relationships across teams

About You

• Experience in fieldwork or research project operations, ideally with some project management background
• Organised, adaptable, and confident managing multiple projects at different stages
• Previous line management experience, or ready to take the first step
• Positive, proactive, and hands-on – happy to support across all aspects of delivery
• Based near Leeds with a driving licence and car
• Flexible with working hours, including some evenings (with time off in lieu)
