About the role:

As a Senior Field Specialist with our Staffing Solutions team, you will oversee WECTEC Staffing field project support and supplemental work force. You will also foster collaboration between our operations groups to define demand and project needs, to align the resource skills and qualifications to the project demand. This will accomplish the meeting of a dynamic resource demand and personnel development through development plans of internal and external resources. resource demand and personnel development. You will report directly to the Senior Manager of the Staffing Solutions Group and will be based out of our Waltz Mill facility in Madison, PA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead discussions and coordinate staffing needs within the Westinghouse operations teams, fulfilling project and training staffing needs. This includes demand and proficiency planning with operations managers and supervisors.
  • Forecast resource demand with increasing fidelity on near-term projects. Develop long-range resource strategy for varying product lines to meet long-range business plan.
  • Coordinate between multiple organizational groups to schedule resources and resolve conflicts, ensuring optimal OFS resource utilization, in order to deliver on Safety, Quality, Schedule, and Cost objectives and support the Sales & Operational Planning (S&OP) process.
  • Assign available resources to both planned and emergent projects based on their skills and experience. Resolves emergent resource needs based on changing scopes or resource availability.
  • Collaborate to develop training plan and schedule to ensure resources are properly qualified for assigned project roles, filling both near-term and long-term demand. Manage and document qualification training records.
  • Coordinate On-boarding of contractors and managing WEC time entry system issues.
  • Monitor employee utilization, schedule, and development of personnel with input and alignment from Operations.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of project management working knowledge of scheduling and working with small groups
  • 3+ years of Resource Management
    • Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered
  • Can gain unescorted access to utility nuclear sites (i.e. can pass background and drug / alcohol screening). We consider aspects of this role safety-sensitive.

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $85,200.00 to $106,500.00 per year.
