Responsibilities

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily:

  • Promote and maintain a strong safety culture while ensuring compliance with company and customer safety standards.
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance on mechanical, electrical, diesel, and related equipment.
  • Diagnose equipment issues and identify effective solutions to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain and manage parts inventory, tools, and company equipment.
  • Provide professional onsite customer support and communicate technical information clearly.
  • Work independently in the field while managing priorities, schedules, and customer expectations.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams, customers, and other service personnel.
  • Maintain accurate service documentation, reports, and required records.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Driving Requirements

Candidates must meet and maintain company driving requirements, including:

  • Completion of Driver Application for Employment.
  • Successful Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) review.
  • Completion of required driver documentation, including:
    • Driver Disclosure and Release
    • Employee Applicant Drug and Alcohol Statement
    • FMCSA Certificate of Awareness
    • Driver Certificate of Violations
    • Driver Statement of On-Duty Hours
    • Road Test Documentation
    • Valid Driver’s License
    • Valid Medical Certificate

Education & Experience Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2–5 years of field service, mechanical, electrical, diesel, or industrial equipment experience preferred.
  • Experience troubleshooting and repairing complex equipment in a customer-facing environment preferred.
  • Ability to obtain required customer clearances (TWIC, DISA, etc.).
  • Ability to obtain and maintain DOT Medical Card.
  • Clean driving record required.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience working with diesel-powered equipment, pumps, motors, controls, or industrial systems.
  • Ability to diagnose problems and implement effective repairs with limited supervision.
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand and interpret technical documentation.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications and mobile technology tools.
  • Strong customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to clearly communicate technical information to customers and internal teams.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and resolve complex field issues.
  • Demonstrates ownership, accountability, and professionalism when representing the company onsite.

The estimated pay range for this position is $30 to $34 plus bonus. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range.
