Xylem is looking for a Field Service Technician to join the Service and Rental team in Kalgoorlie.

The Field Service Technician will perform routine field services and repairs on Xylem products, with a focus on Godwin diesel pump sets. Holding a mechanical trade qualification ( Trade Qualification as a Diesel Mechanic), you like to troubleshoot, are solutions-focused, can operate in a safety-first manner, and provide exceptional Customer support.

Responsibilities:

• Perform scheduled and emergency repairs on Xylem equipment at customer sites and in the workshop.
• Install, test, and maintain pumps and systems to meet operational standards before dispatch.
• Communicate clearly with customers and internal teams, offering expert advice and service feedback.
• Disassemble, clean, assess, and rebuild systems to restore full functionality.
• MR and forklift license (highly desirable)
• Prepare and maintain accurate service reports and documentation in a timely manner.
• Ability to travel throughout the Goldfields region – Filed Service Technician.

Skills and Experience:

• Trade Qualification as a Diesel Mechanic
• Prior Experience working in a Workshop environment.
• Good attention to detail, excellent problem solving and time management.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to successfully communicate with customers.
