Job Description

About Antithesis

We’re on a mission to redefine how modern distributed systems are tested and released. Our platform is trusted by engineering teams who demand rock-solid reliability, scalable performance, and deep technical visibility. Our platform doesn’t just assure system correctness and reliability, it exists because developers need something better. If you’ve ever experienced the pain of a production outage, had a bad week on-call, or had a release delayed by weeks because of one killer bug – you’ll understand exactly why we’re doing what we do. If you're passionate about developer-first products, system resilience, and correctness, we’d love to talk.

About the Role

We’re hiring a Senior Field Marketing Manager based in Vienna, VA. You’ll contribute to the North America strategy, budget, and execution of end-to-end trade shows, developer summits, and community programs, while partnering closely with Sales and Developer Education to grow the pipeline and strengthen our developer community.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide meaningful contributions to the North America field strategy and planning by creating and coordinating the annual and quarterly events calendar and budget, aligning with global priorities and local market needs.
  • Lead event execution, manage end-to-end planning for trade shows, conferences, meetups, and sponsorships—including logistics, vendor management, equipment, catering, travel, collateral, and swag.
  • Drive community engagement by partnering with Developer Education to support grassroots programs, meetups, and champion networks that foster adoption and strengthen Antithesis’s developer community.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally, partnering with Sales to drive pipeline creation and acceleration, and with Marketing teams to plan pre-, during-, and post-event engagement programs.
  • Measure and optimize by tracking performance, budgets, and ROI of all owned programs, delivering actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Support flagship events by contributing to Antithesis initiatives, including bi-annual internal company-wide events and the user conference, Bug Bash.
  • Travel up to 50% during peak conference season (average 25–30% annually).

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of field marketing or demand generation experience, ideally in B2B SaaS, developer tools, infrastructure, or cloud industries.
  • Proven success executing North America marketing programs that drive awareness, adoption, and pipeline growth.
  • Strong experience managing events of all sizes — from grassroots meetups to large-scale conferences.
  • Hands-on expertise with event sponsorships, including contract negotiation, vendor management, and deliverables.
  • Familiarity with devtool market dynamics, cultural nuances, and compliance requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive under pressure and manage multiple projects against tight deadlines.
  • Strong collaboration skills and experience partnering closely with Sales, Marketing, and Developer Education teams.
  • Experience using marketing technologies such as Salesforce and Marketo (preferred, not required).
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and project management skills.
  • Passion for developer communities and distributed systems.
  • Based in Virginia and available to work in the office five days a week when not traveling for events.

Why Join Us?

  • Antithesis solves a problem every engineer has lived through: the 2am page, the release killed by one bug nobody could reproduce. Easy product to get behind.
  • Adhere to the day to day budget, with real say over where it goes and what it's spent on.
  • When you’re not on the road, you’re in the Vienna office (in Tysons Corner) with awesome teammates.

About Antithesis

Ship confidently and free your engineering team to focus on creating business value. Antithesis enables you to find and eliminate bugs that cause system downtime and difficult-to-fix correctness issues.

Our platform combines AI with advanced testing methodologies to thoroughly explore distributed systems and find the bugs that other tools miss. The platform perfectly reproduces bugs and the conditions that led to them, dramatically reducing the time required to debug systems and enabling engineers to validate fixes with 100% certainty.

Instead of having engineers (or AI) write more test cases, the platform enables property-based testing where you define desired outcomes. Our autonomous AI-powered testing engine explores millions of code paths in parallel and smartly injects the kind of faults your code routinely experiences in hostile production environments. No more testing only the "happy path" and missing the issues that will haunt you in production.
