The Opportunity
Tricentis is looking for a Senior Field Marketing Manager to join our AMS marketing team. Reporting to the Director, AMS Marketing, you'll be a senior contributor and strategic driver of the regional marketing program — building and executing integrated campaigns that generate awareness, drive qualified pipeline, accelerate deals, and expand customer relationships across the US and Canada.
This role is for you if you're a seasoned, data-driven B2B marketer who thrives in a fast-paced environment, brings a bias for action, and knows how to lead cross-functional teams toward real business results. You'll combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution, and you'll be the connective thread between marketing and sales in the AMS region.
This role is hybrid and requires three in-office days per week.
What You'll Do
Regional Strategy & Program Ownership
- Collaborate with AMS GTM leadership to develop and own a data-driven regional marketing strategy for how marketing drives leads, pipeline, and bookings across assigned sales pods.
- Bring the regional demand generation strategy to life through a mixture of account-based marketing programs and tactics, including in-person and virtual events, executive briefings and hospitality, industry conferences and tradeshows, webcasts, telemarketing, sales enablement tools, and nurture campaigns.
- Partner closely with field sales, channel sales, customer success, and BDR teams to align on programs, messaging, lead follow-up, and marketing-to-sales handoffs.
- Communicate with and educate the sales teams on the overall marketing strategy, supporting campaign themes and tactical deliverables that are available from the global marketing program that can be leveraged by sales to support demand growth, pipeline acceleration and customer retention.
- Collaborate with the Partner Marketing team to enrich and scale local tactics, aligning on regional marketing tactic coverage and messaging.
- Own and manage relevant components of the AMS marketing budget and marketing calendar with discipline and accountability.
Measurement & Optimization
- Align with Marketing Operations to ensure all programs are effectively tracked, measured, and managed against agreed SLAs and KPIs.
- Analyze performance data to surface insights, refine strategy, and continuously strengthen results across the funnel.
- Leverage data segmentation and prioritization skills using internal and external data sources (e.g., 6sense, ZoomInfo, Salesforce) to identify and act on the highest-value opportunities.
- Identify ways to improve qualified lead to opportunity conversion rates by working to help the sales reps directly with messaging, tools, process, and best practice.
- Lead quarterly business reviews of marketing performance within assigned sales pods.
What You'll Bring
Required
- 7+ years of B2B marketing experience within field or regional marketing in enterprise software or high-tech.
- Proven track record of success in modern marketing practices, demand generation, pipeline acceleration and account-based marketing.
- Extensive event management experience spanning hosted events, third-party conferences, executive programs, and virtual/hybrid formats.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce and business intelligence platforms.
- Deep understanding of sales methodology, pipeline mechanics, and how marketing investments translate to bookings and revenue.
- Strong project and program management skills, with experience leading demand generation efforts across distributed, cross-functional stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills — written, verbal, and in presentations — with experience building reporting and review cadences at all levels.
- Proven ability to build effective relationships across sales, business development, customer success, and marketing.
- Comfortable adopting and experimenting with emerging AI tools to drive smarter, faster field marketing execution; brings a test-and-learn mindset to identifying where automation and AI can reduce manual lift and amplify impact.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field.
- Ability to travel approximately 30%.
Preferred
- Proficiency with project management tools, such as Asana.
- Familiarity with business intelligence tools, such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Experience working in cross-geo, globally matrixed marketing organizations.
- Comfortable adopting and experimenting with emerging AI tools to drive smarter, faster field marketing execution; brings a test-and-learn mindset to identifying where automation and AI can reduce manual lift and amplify impact.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- You're a high-energy self-starter who takes ownership and runs toward challenges — strategy and execution both energize you.
- You're data-driven and outcome-oriented: you measure what matters and let insights guide smarter decisions.
- You're a natural relationship builder who earns trust from sales teams and cross-functional partners alike.
- You communicate with clarity and confidence, whether presenting to leaders or aligning with teammates.
- You thrive in collaborative, fast-moving environments and know how to mobilize people to get things done.
- You have a program-excellence mindset and sweat the details — from strategy through post-event follow-up.
