Senior Field Agronomist

Senior Field Agronomist – East Java

MAJOR TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead technical planning and execution of field trials to ensure high-quality data and delivery of trial targets.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to Field Agronomists and trial station teams.
• Coordinate trial programs across regions and ensure alignment with global and regional strategies.
• Analyse trial data and provide recommendations to support product development and portfolio decisions.
• Build strong relationships with research institutions, universities, and regulatory bodies.
• Drive innovation in trial methodologies, data generation, and agronomic practices.
• Support cross-country collaboration within SEAP cluster and contribute to regional solutions.
• Ensure compliance with Bayer standards on safety, quality, and operational excellence.

WHO YOU ARE

• Education: University degree in Agriculture (Agronomy / Plant Protection preferred).
• Experience: Minimum 5–7 years in agronomy, trials, or crop protection.
• Strong expertise in trial design, execution, and data interpretation.
• Good leadership and mentoring capability.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and drive cross-functional collaboration.
• High ownership and accountability for results.
• Moderate to strong English proficiency is an advantage.
