About this role:

We are looking for a Senior FF&E Designer who has procurement experience to join our team. This role is a new addition to our procurement team based in Singapore serving global projects. You would be reporting to our Procurement Director and collaborating closely with our FF&E & Interior Designers from various HBA offices. Our Singapore office is located conveniently in CBD area and easily accessible with any public transportation. You would find yourself in a multi-cultural and diverse environment.

As a Senior FF&E Designer in luxury interior design industry, you will be working closely with the director to develop and implement procurement strategies that align with our clients’ goals, HBA’s & operator’s design standard.

Key Responsibilities

1. Supplier Sourcing & relationship management: Identify and evaluate FF&E, OS&E suppliers and vendors. This includes sourcing furniture, lighting, textiles, art supplies, OS&E products from global market etc. You should also build and foster collaboration and long-term partnerships with suppliers.
2. Cost Negotiation: Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to secure favourable agreements that meet clients’ budgetary and quality requirements.
3. Quality Assurance: Ensure that the furniture & products procured meet the design specifications and project technical standards.
4. Budget Management: Manage the procurement budget, tracking expenses, and finding cost-effective solutions without compromising on quality.
5. Documentation: Maintain detailed records of procurement transactions, contracts, and supplier performance.
6. Stakeholder Communication: Working closely with the Director of Procurement to collaborate with designers, project managers, and clients to ensure procurement aligns with project timelines and requirements.

Below are the minimum qualifications that we expect from you:

• Have the right to work in Singapore WITHOUT visa sponsorship.
• Bachelor’s degree in interior design /product design or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of FF&E Design and procurement experience in similar industries or turnkey design practices
• Hospitality projects procurement experience (preferred but not compulsory, open to other projects experience too such as luxury residential, office, retail etc.)
• Excellent Excel, AutoCAD, Photoshop and InDesign skills and proficient in all MS office tools
• Proficiency with procurement and project management software
• Strong numerical & analytical ability
• Knowledgeable of industry pricing structure and market trends
• Knowledgeable of global shipping and logistics
• Fluent in English and Mandarin
