Aurora Dairies are currently seeking a Senior Farm Hand or Farm Hand for a dairy farm in Montagu. This farm is Ideally located, just 10 minutes from Smithton, and 1.5 hours from Burnie.
The farm is approximately 800Ha effective area with 330 Ha under centre pivot irrigation and 48Ha irrigated by K-line, currently milking 1,300 cows, through a 70-bail rotary shed with ACR’s, auto teat spray and auto drafting. This farm is 100% Spring calving beginning in mid- August. The herd is medium frame cross breed cows. Young-stock are raised on the farm.
Accommodation may be available for the right candidate and there could be opportunities for employment for your partner on one of our nearby farms, if required.
