Your opportunity

We have an exciting senior opportunity for a Senior Facilities Manager to join our team at Westfield Knox.

The Senior Facilities Manager also plays a key role in providing technical leadership across the region to maintain safe, clean and compliant environments. You will work closely with the National Operations and Environment team to support the delivery of key national operational and environmental initiatives across the region.

In this pivotal role, you will directly manage facilities at Westfield Knox, while also providing leadership, coaching, and technical guidance across the Victorian region.

This role is perfect for someone with portfolio management experience or a background managing contracted service providers.

Your role and responsibilities will include, but not limited to

  • Lead initiatives that support our strategy to operate as a responsible and sustainable business
  • Deliver day-to-day best-in-class facilities services at Westfield Knox that enhance the customer experience
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and guidance to the facilities team across the region, fostering a supportive and high-performing environment
  • Analyse asset and environmental data to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Develop and communicate a detailed asset lifecycle plan and capital requirements
  • Manage contractor relationships and ensure deliverables meet operational standards
  • Respond to all emergencies, evacuations, or incidents at Westfield Knox promptly and effectively
  • Direct asset maintenance, repairs, and capital works to ensure cost-effective solutions
  • Provide technical support and guidance across the region on operational and environmental initiatives
  • Participate in Duty Management responsibilities on a rostered weekend basis, balanced with time off in lieu

What sets you apart

  • Relevant experience in retail, property, facilities management, and managing multi-site portfolios
  • Experience managing contractors or service providers across multiple sites
  • Diploma or tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Trade, Building Services, or Facilities Management
  • Strong commercial acumen to manage budgets and provide recommendations on operating and capital costs
  • Proven leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to inspire teams and deliver results across multiple sites
