This is an exciting opportunity to join our Queensland Real Estate Management Services (REMS) team and work on a commercial and industrial portfolio located on the Gold Coast. This role is based out of the Colliers Gold Coast office.

The key responsibilities will include:

  • Maintain the assets, plant, and equipment to ensure optimal asset performance, efficiency, life cycle planning and functionality
  • Drive best practice by collaborating, managing, and administering the Colliers - Nationally driven comprehensive compliance program, particularly in regards-to risk management for critical site operations, it’s occupants and processes.
  • Manage the relevant budget expenditure for the assets in collaboration with the property management team.
  • Negotiate maintenance contracts, facilitate, and manage services tenders, provide expenditure and performance data for regular monthly and quarterly reporting requirements to clients.
  • Actively maintain compliance with regard-to OH&S obligations, completing audits and reviews as required by Colliers, the client and the relevant legislation

Qualifications

To excel in this position, you will ideally have:

  • Strong interpersonal and relationship skills and the ability to build effective relationships with key stakeholders including tenants, clients, body Corporate committees and contractors.
  • Good problem-solving skills and able to resolve issues quickly and autonomously
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and professional certifications (preferred but not essential)
  • Knowledge of industry best practice, sustainability, and legislative compliance
  • Good building services operational and technical knowledge and risk management experience
