Job Description

Are you an experienced facilities co-ordinator? Do you have experience building strong relationships with contractors? Do you enjoy getting involved in the day-to-day operation of a site? If you’ve answered yes, then you could be the right person to join the team as a Part-Time Senior Facilities Assistant in our Saltcoats office, KA21.

What you can expect as a Senior Facilities Co-ordinator:

  • Salary of up to £15,427.80 (£27,000 FTE)
  • Part-Time, Permanent.
  • 20 Hours per week.
  • Monday to Friday 10am – 2pm (can be flexible).
  • Office based.

As our new Senior Facilities Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for managing contractors, co-ordinating maintenance activities & ensuring a safe, efficient and well-maintained workplace.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Acting as main point of contact for contractors and co-ordinating visits.
  • Identify, monitor and manage planned and reactive maintenance.
  • Support day-to-day facilities, ensuring a safe, clean and well-maintained environment.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to resolve facilities- related issues.
  • Maintain accurate and compliant record of activities contractor attendance.

We are looking for someone with:

  • Experience working within facilities or building services.
  • Strong contractor management skills.
  • Good organizational and time management skills, with ability to prioritise tasks.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach to problem solving and day-to-day facilities support.
  • Competence in Microsoft office applications, with strong administration skills
  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high standards.
