Job Description

About the role

This position is part of the Group Corporate Development team at Medicover, responsible for M&A, investments, group strategy and investor relations across the Medicover Group.
As a Senior Analyst, you will support and actively contribute to acquisition, investment and selected strategic initiatives, with a particular focus on the German market, working closely with senior stakeholders across the Group and local management teams.

Key responsibilities

  • Monitoring the German healthcare and diagnostic services market to identify acquisition, investment and partnership opportunities
  • Supporting and coordinating M&A and investment projects across the full transaction lifecycle
  • Participating in financial, tax, legal and commercial due diligence processes
  • Preparing financial analyses, valuations, projections and financial models to support investment and strategic decisions
  • Supporting preparation of investment materials for internal Investment Committees
  • Assisting in negotiations regarding valuation, transaction structure and key commercial terms
  • Coordinating workstreams with external advisors (financial, tax, legal)
  • Collaborating with internal experts and stakeholders across Operations, Legal, Medical, IT, Patient Experience and Investments
  • Supporting post-merger integration activities of acquired businesses
  • Contributing to group-level strategic initiatives

Your profile

  • University degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field
  • 3–5 years of professional experience in transaction advisory, consulting, corporate finance or corporate development (experience in Big Four or leading advisory firms is a strong asset)
  • Solid exposure to M&A, valuations, due diligence or transaction-related financial analysis
  • Prior exposure with M&A contracts, e.g. LOIs, SPAs, ideally with experience in German healthcare field
  • Strong analytical skills and experience working with complex financial and operational datasets
  • Very good command of English; professional working proficiency in German is required
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to translate analyses into clear, well-structured business insights
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills in an international environment
