The Digital & CX team operate within our Marketing & Growth business unit. Combining Digital Channel Ownership & Experience Design, we are responsible for the design and ongoing management of UniSuper's digital channels to ensure our members and employers are serviced effectively and efficiently in an environment that is constantly evolving.

The role

This 6-month contract role will be responsible for the design of intuitive and accessible user experiences and interfaces for services and digital products, including web-based and mobile applications. You will deliver digital product design expertise across a range of Digital & Customer Experience initiatives, collaborating with stakeholders to understand problems, prototype solutions and improve experiences.
  • Deliver end-to-end design of user-centric digital solutions from concept and research through to deployment and iteration
  • Collaborate with Product and Channel Owners to identify and ideate opportunities aligned to customer and project needs
  • Analyse quantitative and qualitative research to synthesise meaningful insights and behavioural patterns
  • Articulate design solutions through blueprints, user flows, wireframes and prototypes
  • Support and improve UniSuper’s Design System and component libraries
  • Improve accessibility outcomes by ensuring designs meet WCAG 2.2 standards and support assistive technologies

About You

You are an experienced product design practitioner with a strong generalist skillset spanning the digital product design lifecycle. You enjoy solving complex design challenges, supporting stakeholders with diverse backgrounds and delivering quality outcomes in fast-paced environments.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience facilitating and executing service and experience design activities for digital products and services
  • Portfolio demonstrating UX/UI design experience and deliverables across web and mobile platforms
  • Demonstrated ability in crafting responsive and accessible user interfaces and multi-step user flows
  • Proficiency in Figma, including design and prototyping, and collaborative documentation tools such as Confluence
  • Ability to facilitate workshops, engage stakeholders and achieve alignment across business and technology teams
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines without compromising delivery quality
