Senior Executive - Sustainability & Compliance - Operations

(Based at Nittambuwa)

We are on the lookout for a dedicated individual to execute compliance and sustainability related initiatives across all internal SBU’s within the organization whilst, following up the accurate and timely performance thereby effectively meeting organization’s internal and external compliance standards

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify sustainability projects for SBUs, determine the scope & budgetary requirements, obtain approval from relevant parties, implement the said projects and monitor progress.
• Be accountable for the payments generated by the sustainability team, liaise with external vendors for the most lucrative options and ensure timely payment.
• Organize monthly Compliance Forum, facilitate discussions among plant representatives on compliance and sustainability matters, formulate action points to be implemented across relevant Manufacturing Plants and share meeting minutes among participants for necessary action & follow-up.
• Prepare the Organizational Environmental Reporting Program by collecting all relevant environmental data, ensure currency and modifying the system along with the IT team to facilitate the establishment of sustainability Key performance Indicators within the organization.
• Update the compliance intranet on a regular basis whilst uploading relevant information on audits and ensure relevant & accurate data is available at all times for all stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to organizational standards in areas such as Standard Operating Procedures, compliance, health and safety and Lean Implementation in all day-to day activities.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Degree in Management or Social Sustainability.

• 2-4 years of relevant experience.

• Good Analytical Skills.
• Communication Skills.
