[What the role is]
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented communications professional to join our Corporate Communications team. In this role, you will support the development and execution of strategic communications initiatives that strengthen our corporate reputation, engage key stakeholders, and advance our sustainability agenda. You will play a central role in the production of our Annual Report and contribute to communications efforts that bring our sustainability commitments to life.
[What you will be working on]
Corporate Communications
You will support the planning and execution of corporate communications strategies that align with the organisation's goals and brand positioning. This includes drafting and editing a range of corporate content — including speeches, media releases, executive messaging — ensuring consistency in tone, voice, and messaging across all channels. You will also assist in managing media relations, including responding to media enquiries and maintaining relationships with journalists and stakeholder contacts.
Annual Report Production
You will take an active role in coordinating the end-to-end production of the organisation's Annual Report, working closely with internal stakeholders across finance, legal, operations, and leadership to gather content, ensure accuracy, and meet publication timelines. This includes managing relationships with external vendors such as designers, printers, and copywriters, as well as ensuring compliance with relevant authorities and reporting standards and guidelines.
Sustainability Communications
You will support the communications workstream of the organisation's sustainability pillar, helping to translate complex sustainability data and initiatives into compelling narratives for diverse audiences. This includes developing media content and stakeholder engagement materials, and ensure that SDC remains top of mind in the sustainability realm.
You will be in a fast-paced environment, as you collaborate with team members to enhance Sentosa’s position as a leading leisure destination, as well as to showcase SDC’s industry and thought leadership. The role will require you to nurture strong relationships with mainstream media, trade and online media, including hosting media familiarisation tours, managing media queries, as well as issues/crisis communications.
[What we are looking for]
A good team player with strong interpersonal skills
Versatile and creative
Passionate, independent and self-motivated
Relevant degree, such as in Mass Communications, Public Relations or related discipline.
Relevant experience of 3-4 years or more
Strong media pitching, writing and language skills
Experience in tourism or hospitality related topics is advantageous, but not mandatory
Proficiency in social media tools, with keen interest in new media trends
Being bilingual would be an added advantage (eg. understanding and/or translating media materials)
