Senior Executive – Statutory Reporting (UAE National)

Our prominent client in Dubai is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Executive – Statutory Reporting to support the preparation of statutory financial reports, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and contribute to the integrity of the organization's financial reporting processes.

Experience: Minimum 1 year of relevant experience

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare statutory financial statements in compliance with IFRS and UAE regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with external auditors and support the annual statutory audit process.
• Ensure timely preparation and submission of statutory and regulatory reports.
• Assist with month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
• Review financial records to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders, auditors, and regulatory authorities to facilitate reporting requirements.
• Support the reconciliation of general ledger accounts and financial reporting schedules.
• Maintain appropriate documentation to support financial reporting and audit requirements.
• Assist in implementing improvements to financial reporting processes and internal controls.
• Stay up to date with changes in accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and reporting practices.

Requirements

• UAE National with Family Book.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in statutory reporting, financial reporting, audit, or general accounting.
• Sound understanding of IFRS and financial reporting principles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with ERP systems is an advantage.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting strict reporting deadlines.
