
Sr. Executive – Domestic Operations - Rail & Inland Terminals
Job Location - Jajpur, Orissa.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the complete rail and terminal operations for one of DP World’s major customers in Odisha.
• Supervise end-to-end rake operations across all locations associated with the customer, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to operational standards.
• Monitor rake movements and operational activities closely to ensure smooth, timely, and efficient functioning.
• Coordinate with the IR serving station and associated divisions for timely placement, release, departure of rakes, and completion of RR formalities.
• Maintain continuous coordination with customer, transporters vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure timely destuffing, and delivery of containers and cargo and destination terminals.
• Ensuring adherence to customer-defined SLAs and timelines for rake arrivals, departures, deliveries, documentation, and related activities.
• Maintain complete records of container inventory, gate-in/gate-out movements, and document tracking such as LR copies, weighment slips, e-way bills, and invoices.
• Work closely with the central planning team for rake planning, running schedules, and onward movements.
• Ensure timely completion of operational and commercial activities for rake arrival and dispatches in FOIS.
• Prepare Railway Receipts (RRs) and ensure their prompt submission to the corporate office, along with ensuring all customer documents reach the destination before rake arrival.
• Maintain accurate records of consumables and ensure optimal utilization through reuse and effective inventory control.
• Submit daily reports to headquarters covering rake operations, inventory status, mechanical condition, and overall commercial performance.
Education
Graduate or equivalent from a reputed University
Experience
Minimum 4 years proven experience in Rail and PFT
Technical Skills
Good knowledge on the Rail operations, Railways norms and trade practices. Strong interpersonal skills and communication with Indian Railways.
