Job Description

As the Senior Executive - Product Development, you will be at the forefront of our product innovation journey. Your expertise in the switchgear industry, coupled with your proficiency in CAD software, will be instrumental in driving the development of our electrical and digital systems.   • Conduct thorough research and stay updated on industry trends and competitor products.
  • Oversee the product development process, from concept to prototyping and testing.
  • Manage and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, especially in electrical and mechanical engineering.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop product positioning and messaging strategies.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to sales and customer service teams.
  • Continuously seek opportunities for product improvement and innovation, driving NEDS' competitive edge.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electro-Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • 3-4 years of experience in the switchgear industry, with a strong track record of product development.
  • Proficiency in CAD software, with the ability to create and optimize complex designs.
  • Sound knowledge of electrical and mechanical engineering principles and practices.
  • Analytical mindset with a problem-solving approach to product development challenges.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across different departments and functions.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and deliver results.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations, especially in the electrical domain.
  • A passion for innovation and a drive to create cutting-edge products that meet market demands.
