AirAsia MOVE is seeking a detail-oriented and hands-on Senior Executive, Procurement – Marketing to support day-to-day procurement activities across marketing-related spend categories, including digital advertising, media buying, creative services, partnerships, PR, influencers, and event-related procurement.
The role focuses on executing procurement requests, supporting vendor management, and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will bring practical sourcing experience and strong attention to detail in a fast-paced marketing environment.
Strategic Sourcing & Category Management
Execute procurement requests for marketing-related services, ensuring alignment with campaign timelines and brand objectives.
Assist in gathering vendor quotes, preparing RFQs/RFPs, and maintaining documentation.
Support supplier evaluations and provide input for agency selection processes.
Stakeholder Collaboration
Work closely with Marketing, Brand, Growth, and Content teams to understand campaign requirements and provide operational procurement support.
Support reporting on category spend, project status, and procurement activities.
Contract Management & Compliance
Support the implementation and adherence to procurement policies, SOPs, and SLAs to esnure consistency and governance across procurement processes.
Support contract review by preparing documents, tracking approvals, and liaising with vendors.
Monitor supplier performance and ensure adherence to contractual obligations, escalate issues where contractual obligations are not met.
Performance Management & KPI ownership
Support tracking and reporting of procurement KPIs, including sourcing lead times, compliance, and supplier deliverables.
Assist in maintaining spend dashboards and accurate classification of marketing spend.
Collect data and prepare reports for Manager/AM on cost, cycle time, and vendor performance.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement
Support supplier engagement initiatives and the adoption of digital procurement tools and processes.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance procurement efficiency and effectiveness.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
2 - 3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, with at least 2 years specializing in marketing or media procurement.
Familiarity with marketing categories including media, production, digital, and influencer partnerships.
Strong negotiation, communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in procurement software and G Suite (Sheet, Doc, Slide).
Basic analytical skills and understanding of procurement processes and documentation.
Professional certifications such as CIPS, CPM, or equivalent are an advantage.
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Team player with willingness to support cross-functional stakeholders.
Familiarity with sustainable procurement practices is a plus.
Experience in tech, digital, or travel industries is a plus.
