As part of the administrative team, you will play a meaningful role in shaping the PhD experience—from admissions and onboarding to academic milestones and graduation—contributing directly to the success of future academics and thought leaders.

The incumbent will provide end‑to‑end administrative and programme support for the Nanyang Business School (NBS) PhD Programme. The role supports key areas including PhD admissions and scholarships, student lifecycle administration, academic and programme coordination, and convocation‑related processes.
Working closely with faculty members, PhD students, and central administrative offices, the incumbent ensures smooth programme operations, accurate records, and timely delivery of services in accordance with university policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities include:
Supporting PhD recruitment activities, outreach initiatives, and related administrative and procurement processes.
Managing PhD admissions and scholarship administration, including application processing, coordination with academic units, and issuance of offers.
Providing student administration support across the PhD lifecycle, including onboarding, orientation, candidature administration, claims, and student activities.
Assisting with academic and programme administration such as course coordination, progress reporting, supervision and committee records, workshops, and internal defences.
Supporting PhD convocation planning and administration in coordination with central offices.
Administering inbound and outbound research and PhD exchange programmes, including Non‑Graduating Non‑Exchange (NGNE) students.
Maintaining accurate programme records, databases, and documentation, and supporting financial and operational matters as required.
Requirements include:
A recognised degree in Business Administration or a related discipline.
Experience in higher education administration, programme management, or a similar operational role.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
Good communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and complex workflows within tight timelines
Meticulous, responsible, and service‑oriented.
Proactive and able to work independently as well as in a team.
Resilient and adaptable in managing operational complexity.
