Senior Executive, Performance Marketing

Reports to: Senior Manager, Performance Marketing

Role Summary

Delivers and executes biddable performance marketing initiatives, with principal accountability for social media and display, optimising activity to deliver the best commercial outcomes. The role continuously reviews media performance to drive key performance marketing outcomes such as bookings, conversion and leads.

Key Accountabilities

  • Accountable for media planning and delivery in support of driving lower funnel metrics.
  • Supports the implementation, optimisation and reporting of performance media channels including paid social and display campaigns across Meta, Pinterest, and other DSP platforms.
  • Monitors campaign performance and proactively flags issues or areas for improvement.
  • Creates campaigns and manages day to day execution and optimisation with a focus on direct response objectives such as ROAS and revenue.
  • Develops data-led campaign proposals and performance focused media plans in response to briefs.
  • Reports against core media and commercial KPIs, including post campaign analysis.

Essential Experience Required

  • Demonstrated experience in performance marketing with demonstrable ownership of large budgets and revenue targets.
  • Proven success scaling paid social and driving measurable incremental growth.
  • Command of analytics platforms, ad tools (Google Ads, Meta, DV360/The Trade Desk), and dashboarding (Power BI/Tableau).
  • Relevant certifications (Google/Meta) are a plus.
  • Performance Strategy: Good experience in deployng biddable media - paid social/programmatic and growth frameworks (LTV/ROAS/CPA).
  • Analytics & Experimentation: Proficient with AA/CJA, incrementality testing, MMM/MTA inputs; strong hypothesis‑driven testing.
  • Audience & Data: Comfort with first‑party data activation, consent‑compliant audience building, feed management, and exclusions/lookalikes.
  • Commercial Acumen: Forecasting, scenario planning, and margin sensitivity; understands pricing, inventory, and trading dynamics.
  • Executional Craft: Knowledge of bidding strategies, creative formats, conversion paths.
  • Communication: concise storytelling with data.
  • Compliance Mindset: Works effectively with Privacy/Legal on consent, data governance, and brand safety.
  • Project Management/co-ordination experience.
  • A comprehensive understanding of the advertising regularly frameworks, Clearcast and platform-specific compliance.
  • Adept at using a range of Social Media management platforms.
  • Experience of working to tight deadlines.
