Senior Executive Officer (25260613)

The Department invites applications for the position of Senior Executive Officer to provide administrative and secretarial support to various aspects of work of the Department.

Responsibilities:

• Provide secretarial support to the Head of Department;
• Draft papers/reports that serve committees;
• Handle staff recruitment and arrange departmental activities;
• Provide administrative and procurement support to the Department;
• Update social media platforms and prepare publicity materials;
• Liaise with internal and external parties; and
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree preferably with five years of relevant work experience;
• Strong communication, organisational and analytical skills, and a strong sense of responsibility;
• Proactive, mature and able to work independently; and
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua) and literacy in computing applications.

Shortlisted applicants will be invited to attend a written assessment.

The initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of two years. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
