Salary: $87,934 - $205,188
The Program Manager is the overall Program Lead, manager and administrator for this effort supporting leading edge systems engineering and software development across multiple teams. This position is managing a DCS team as well as a select group of highly skilled contractors from the Patuxent River area.
Essential Job Functions:
Duties and responsibilities include formulating policies, managing daily operations, and planning the use of materials and human resources, but are too diverse and general in nature to be classified in any one functional area of management or administration such as personnel, purchasing, or administrative services. Usually manage through subordinate supervisors. Act as the overall lead, manager, and administrator for the entire contracted effort. Serve as the primary interface and point of contact with the Government COR on technical and project issues. Oversee contractor execution of the TO requirements. Manage acquisition and employment of project resources.
Required Skills:
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. citizenship is required.
Master's degree in an Engineering, Technical, Business, or Computer Science/IT discipline or qualifying substitution plus 10 years of experience.
Of the minimum 10 years of experience required, at least 7 of those years must include supervising and providing recommendations to all areas of program management, systems engineering, major system acquisitions, and financial management.
