Senior Executive ‐ Mechanical‐ Operations

Based at Asialine Embilipitiya

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the repairs and maintenance of machinery in the sewing sections in order to ensure expected maintenance levels are maintained to support a smooth production operation
• Prepare & monitor the budget for all spare parts and new machinery on an annual basis and forecast the requirements for the plant for the following budget year
• Coordinate with other SBUs and external parties to arrange training programs/ workshops for the maintenance team in order to upgrade skills of the team
• Coordinate with the work-study team, obtain details on future machine/ attachment requirements, machine settings and ensure timely provision to facilitate the smooth flow of operations
• Check the daily status of the all the variables identified by the plant such as accidents, near misses, pre-setting errors, oil mark %, slip stitches & Kaizen points in order to ensure both weekly and PDCA targets are met

Knowledge and Skills

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 2 -3 years of experience in a similar capacity
• Health Safety Sustainability & Compliance
