The position calls for candidates who are self-motivated, have good interpersonal and communication skills, are team players and yet have the ability to work independently and enjoy working with youths. He/she should have strong administrative and project management abilities to execute programmes competently and independently. Experience or exposure to leadership and/or mentoring frameworks/models will be an advantage.
[What you will be working on]
The appointee will support the planning and delivery of programmes within the Leadership portfolio in the Department of Student Development, with the aim of developing students’ leadership competencies, confidence and readiness. He/she will be involved in programme planning, stakeholder engagement, implementation, and evaluation, including managing event logistics, communications and marketing, and conducting relevant data analysis for tracking and continuous improvement.
The role will also include mentoring/guiding students in Co-Curricular Activities (CCA) club matters and may involve supporting overseas programme portfolios. He/she may be required to collaborate with stakeholders to organise SP-wide events that enhance campus vibrancy and participate in departmental committees.
a) Plan and implement Leadership programmes and activities, ensuring objectives are achieved:
Coordinate programme execution, logistics and stakeholder engagement
Conduct data tracking, analysis and reporting for improvement
Manage programme administration, budgets and vendors (where applicable)
Support content creation and outreach on digital platforms
b) Organise and/or support staff training for Leadership and Mentoring frameworks
c) Mentor and guide students in CCA clubs, including development and administrative support
d) Support overseas programme/trip portfolio (where required)
e) Support departmental administrative processes and perform ad hoc duties as assigned
[What we are looking for]
Passion for youth development and student leadership
Experience or interest in leadership or youth development programmes
Strong organisational, administrative and analytical skills
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Able to work independently and collaboratively
Willing to work beyond office hours
Experience in leadership and/or mentoring frameworks is an advantage
Successful candidate will be offered a 2-year contract in the first instance.
