
Senior Executive - Human Resources
(Based at MAS Bodywear –Mawathagama)

We are on the lookout for a dedicated individual to oversees and ensures seamlessly delivering all tasks pertaining to payroll, attendance, employee relations, recruitment, engagement and other related HR functions driving the operations unit. Ensures compliance and alignment to Group and legislative polices/procedures whilst driving an engaged working environment.
Key Responsibilities
Drive team member recruitment activities to ensure timely fulfillment of manpower requirements and achievement of recruitment targets.
Conduct recruitment campaigns, job fairs, and sourcing initiatives to attract suitable candidates.
Build and maintain talent pipelines through partnerships with different strategies.
Coordinate the end-to-end recruitment process including sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, onboarding, and induction of new hires.
Collaborate with Team Leaders and Group Leaders to identify workforce requirements and implement effective hiring strategies.
Monitor recruitment progress and workforce availability, taking proactive measures to close manpower gaps.
Maintain and update the Time & Attendance System, including employee fingerprint registration, attendance data downloads, and attendance uploads.
Maintain accurate employee records related to leave, absenteeism, no-pay, incentives, EPF/ETF, and all employee documentation.
Ensure timely completion of HR documentation and payroll-related activities with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of employee records while fulfilling all statutory and organizational requirements.
Lead employee relations initiatives to promote a positive work environment and strengthen employee engagement.
Plan and execute employee engagement activities in accordance with the annual engagement calendar.
Promote a positive work culture through employee involvement initiatives, quality circles, Kaizen, and problem-solving practices.
Support employee wellbeing, work-life balance, and career development initiatives.
Drive and maintain a workplace culture focused on Safety First, compliance, and organizational values.
Train, develop, and supervise Executives and Staff Grade employees on HR processes and best practices.
Conduct internal training and awareness programs on HR policies, procedures, and protocols.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of HR activities.
Deliver a high level of internal customer service to manufacturing and central functions.
Ensure a high level of system accuracy and reliability of HR information for management reporting and decision-making.
Continuously identify and implement innovative recruitment and HR process improvements to enhance efficiency and service delivery.
Perform additional responsibilities and projects as assigned by management in support of business objectives.
Knowledge and skills
Degree in Business Management, Human Resources or any other relevant area.
2+ years of relevant work experience in same Exposure
Ability to work with limited supervision and take lead in the respective pillar.
Sound communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work well with technology.
Relationship building and management skills.
