Sephora SEA’s omni channel business spans over 8 countries (Australia, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore, Thailand, and the Philippines) with 100+ stores and boasts some global flagships such as ION and Raffles City in Singapore, F88 in Kuala Lumpur and Pitt Street in Sydney. Sephora SEA is experiencing rapid growth in the region with new store openings and business channels (i.e., Click and collect and marketplace).

The Opportunity

We are hiring a 12-month contract to support end-to-end payroll operations and HR administration for Sephora, based in Singapore. You will partner closely with payroll vendors, Finance, and key stakeholders to ensure accurate, compliant, and timely payroll delivery across Singapore and the Philippines population.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage monthly payroll processing for Singapore/regional entities in partnership with an external payroll vendor, including data preparation, validations, and payroll output checks in HR systems.
  • Coordinate Philippines payroll processing with an external payroll vendor, ensuring accurate inputs, compliance, and timely completion.
  • Partner with Retail stakeholders to validate time & attendance, allowances and commissions for payroll cut-offs.
  • Administer leave processing and accruals; support annual income reporting/tax filing (where applicable).
  • Support benefits administration (including flexi benefits) and ensure invoices are processed accurately and on time.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and support employee lifecycle administration (onboarding/offboarding, letters, claims, reporting).
  • Support audits, reporting, and continuous process improvements; maintain SOPs for business continuity.
  • Deliver to strict monthly payroll timelines agreed internally and with payroll vendors.

What we are looking for

  • Proven HR Operations experience with strong hands-on payroll exposure (Singapore payroll essential; Philippines payroll exposure a plus).
  • Experience working with payroll vendors; familiarity with different payroll systems is advantageous.
  • High maturity and discretion—able to manage highly confidential information with integrity.
  • Strong attention to detail and a curious, questioning mindset to validate data and flag anomalies early.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills; comfortable working with outcome-based expectations and tight timelines.
